Matt Oates

Matt is a Senior Partner at Deep Dive Estate Planning, responsible for developing and nurturing relationships, and has over 20 years of experience in financial planning. He worked as a financial adviser before moving into senior management with Nationwide Building Society, and has held diverse management and consulting roles with the UK's leading financial brands since then. Matt provides coaching and mentorship to our affiliated advisers, and helps our clients and professional partners understand the process of optimising their estate and inheritance tax planning.

Matt enjoys spending his time outside of work with his family. Three children keep him very busy as well as a love for sports: mainly football, squash and skiing. Matt will be often found on a cold, wet winter morning either playing or watching one of the children playing football. Partial to good food and fine wine, an ideal evening would be an Italian restaurant with family and friends.
